It is a hard path to go down, losing weight. I have a lot of famous people who have done it but they have basically been paid. Their are a couple people in my life who have lost significant amounts of weight and they say it is all about will power and determination.
I hope I have determination. It is just so hard when you are used to eating a certain way and then you change it to another. I switched up my plan, because the auditions for Frog and Toad are November 3rd and I want to lose at least ten pounds by then. So I am doing the No White Diet, which is basically no sugar or flour, and on top of that I am counting calories.
I only just started on Wednesday, but I have been losing little amounts consistently, so I am hopeful. It better work because I switched around the way I eat ENTIRELY! Below are examples of what I used to eat and what I eat now. This is a lifestyle change I am trying to do, so I hope good comes out of it.
BEFORE:
Breakfast: Usually a protein drink because I need to run out the door by 5:30 for work.
Lunch: Cheesy gordita crunch, hard shell taco, and a steak quesadilla
Dinner: two hot dogs, chips and a couple cups of ice cream.
Snack: Candy, candy, and probably chips
NOW:
Breakfast: Protein drink of some kind.
Lunch: Pork or chicken with squash or asparagus
Dinner: An all fruit smoothie from Jamba or some more lean meat choices with veggies.
Snack: Bananas, clementines and almonds.
